Emma is a sweet and shy 3 year old female GSD that is underweight at the moment but ideally should be around 70lbs. She came back to us after the family that adopted her years ago, unfortunately, have had health issues (not COVID) that prevented them from continuing the active life she needs.
Emma has been in a foster home for the past few weeks while we got to know her and her needs a bit more, here is what Emma has to say for herself:
“Hi! My names Emma! I’m timid at first but once I warm up to you I love scratches. I’m very crate trained and like my space, I’m bit skinny right now so I’ve been trying to gain some weight, I’m on a mix of wet/raw mixed with dry food. Im pretty good on leash but I use a haulti because sometimes I get too excited. Great with other dogs, sometimes a bit excited but I just love making friends. Cats are for chasing so I would rather not live with one, as well as children, they’re too loud and I’m not a fan. A couple that is active would be a great home! I have energy and need to blow it off as well as stay stimulated, I can’t be off leash yet because my recall skills are poor and I wont come back… so only leashed walks for me, this does mean I need a yard, one big enough for me to run around and play fetch..”
As with all of our dogs, she is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you think you have the perfect home for Emma, please fill out an application under our Foster? Adopt tab 🐾❤️
