Sweet sweet Susan is a 5 year old female Pit x Saint Bernard x Mastiff mix, that weighs about 60 lbs. She has come into our program as a local owner surrender.
Her owner admittingly did not give her proper training growing up and so while in foster she has been working on some of her basic skills, leash manners, and meeting other dogs and people because sometimes she likes to jump up on people and comes in too excited meeting other dogs. After a proper introduction with other dogs she does quite well with them and even used to be a dog park dog. When it comes to kitties, she likes to chase them but we don’t know if it is for fun or bad intentions.
Despite being overly excited with new people, she actually has been thoroughly kid tested and does very well with them, especially if they are okay with her getting the zoomies and her lack of understanding that her tail can be a weapon at times hahaha
She is perfectly housebroken and has no separation anxiety, but she has not been in a crate in sometime so that would be a new thing for her.
As with all our dogs, she is spayed and microchipped but we do need to bring her up to date on shots.
