Amalina is a 3 year old female mix breed dog who came to us from our friends at Mexi Perro. She has spent some time with a foster and is now ready to find her forever home.
This is what Amalina’s Foster has to say about her:
“Amalina is a shy girl when first meeting people. She is particularly hesitant meeting men but warms up to everyone on her own terms. She loves her chew toys and gets very playful inside after her walks. She likes to be close by but is not a big cuddler but definitely enjoys her belly rubs and chin scratches.
She is very food/treat motivated and will sit/stay for her meals until you give the “ok” command and is working on “down” and “paw”. Amalina is completely house trained with 3 walks/day and is very good in her kennel overnight. She likes to walk at the end of her leash but doesn’t pull … unless she sees a squirrel! Because of this, cats may not be a good match for her. She has not been tested with young children but does still startle easily with sudden quick movements. She seems very interested in dogs her size or smaller but has been unsure about larger dogs.
With continued boosts to her confidence, sweet Amalina will be the perfect companion Amalina is a very sweet girl. We will miss her very much when she moves on to her furever home.”
Amalina is up to date on all her shots and spayed. If you think you need this little lady in your life, email us at email@example.com or fill out an application under the foster to adopt tab ❤️🐾
