Foster Notes:
Ruca (called Ru) will love you with her whole heart. She loves snuggles and curling up beside you. She is young, smart, active, a love bug, and great at playing ball and bringing it back, this brings out her biggest smile. Ruca is medium/high energy and always up for jumping in the car and going on a an adventure with her loved ones. She is great in the car and loves going on car rides, she also enjoys hiking.
Ruca is working on becoming a confident dog and can be a little shy in new settings. In the past lots of stimulation and sounds make in the past have made her go into flight mode. Now Ruca wants to meet all the people, kids and dogs or she will entirely ignore them. She needs a calm, strong, confident leader to help provide her with the proper energy to be confident in environments that are new to her. Ru is very food and toy motivated so that helps with positively reinforcing training and rewards.
Ruca is a quick learner that knows sit, let, bed and off. She would benefit from some training classes to master her manners as she does like to jump up. She is food and treat motivated.
This little girl would thrive in an active home with either a yard or often adventures, and a regular play buddy, a buddy who is confident but not bossy. Preferably male. She enjoys her crate, and can be in there for longer periods of time.
