๐พ Meet Rosie ๐พ
Say hello to Rosie, a sweet, affectionate Great Pyrenees / Border Collie / Shepherd / Lab mix looking for a patient family to help her continue blossoming into the incredible dog we know she can be.
Born on October 15, 2025, Rosie is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, housetrained, has no known medical conditions, and will be spayed once she's old enough.
Rosie has so many wonderful qualities. She's affectionate, playful, curious, and loves spending time with her people once she feels safe. She enjoys exploring at her own pace, loves other dogs, and has a gentle, kind nature that truly shines when she's comfortable.
Like many young dogs, Rosie is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. New environments, busy areas, and unfamiliar people can feel overwhelming at first, so she's looking for a family that understands confidence is built through patienceโnot pressure. Given the time to settle in, Rosie continues to make wonderful progress, becoming more curious and engaged with each new experience.
Her foster has found that Rosie is happiest in a quieter environment where she can build trust, explore at her own pace, and continue developing her confidence. Because Rosie takes so much comfort from other dogs, we believe she would thrive in a home with another confident, well-socialized canine companion who can continue helping her build confidence and show her that new experiences are safe and fun.
Rosie would do best with a family that enjoys a quieter lifestyle and is committed to continuing her socialization in a way that allows her to feel successful. She doesn't need someone looking for a "finished" dogโshe needs someone excited to help her become one.
As with many young dogs, thoughtful management is important while she's learning. Rosie has shown one instance of resource guarding around food while living with other dogs. Her future family should be mindful of feeding routines and provide clear, consistent boundaries around meals and high-value treats. With appropriate management, positive training, and continued guidance, we expect Rosie to continue developing healthy habits and confidence.
With patience, consistency, and lots of love, we know Rosie will reward her family with unwavering loyalty and companionship. Watching a shy puppy discover confidence is one of the most rewarding journeys you can experience, and Rosie is ready to take that journey with the right person by her side.
